PHOTOS & FILES
How do I get my pictures to you?
  • You can either mail the photos (slides/negatives/documents) to us, or you can upload them here on the website.  Of course, if you are using digital files and hard copy documents, you can use both methods.  You can also mail digital files on a CD, or other memory device.

What size photos (printed) can you use?
  • We can use documents up to A4, or 8.5x10 inches.  If you have larger documents to include, contact us and we'll see what we can arrange.

What size files can you accept?
  • Any size, but somewhere between 100kb and 2Mb is good.  Smaller image files may compromise quality, and larger ones will increase upload/download times.


Do you also work from slides and negatives?
  • Yes.  Let us know when you order.


Does the quality of the photos matter?
  • Yes and no.  The better the quality at the beginning, the better the end product will be.  We can do some tweaking to improve the output.  We often include photos that you might not normally print, because it's the only one you have of a particular person or event.  In fact, a less-than-perfect picture can add character in a movie, whereas on paper it would just look like, well, a less-than-perfect photo.


PRICING, PAYMENTS & PRIVACY
Why do the movie prices decrease for Returning Clients?
Two reasons. 
  • First, to encourage you to make lots of movies!
  • Second, once we've established our relationship with you, a lot of the more time-consuming factors become easier.  We know your tastes, you understand our processes.  So we can get to the movie-making much more quickly, and more confident of what you'd like to see.

Do you share my personal information?
  • No.  Our records, which include no financial details, are maintained off-line.  We will only hold on to your name, address, phone, e-mail and order details.  We will not share those with anyone else, and we will only contact you in relation to your orders.

How are our financial details handled?
  • We use PayPal to process payments online.  In doing so, TooManyPhotos.com never sees your financial information.
  • We also do direct deposit, checks, and cash if it's a local order.

Can we pay by a method other than PayPal?
  • Certainly.  Contact us and we can arrange another method for you, depending on your location.

What are the shipping costs?
  • For "Bringing them together" (movies from photos), Standard shipping/postage is free.
  • Expedited, confirmed,tracked and insured postage can be arranged if required.
  • For "Putting them together" (group photo collection), postage will vary according to the size of the project; it will be a known part of the project arranged with the group leader.


TIME
How long does a project take?
  • A "Bringing them to life" project (movie from photos) typically takes two-three days to create, plus whatever mail time is on either end of the process.  We will let you know along the way what stage your project is up to.
  • A "Putting them together" project (group photo collection) will vary depending on the size of your group.  A timeline will be established with you when you order, or we can put one in place even before then.

What if I'm not satisfied with the final product?
  • We will work with you and rework the product until you are pleased with the results.
